Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Xtreme Tire Repair website at cobblehilltire.ca and the Xtreme Tire Shop Android app. Both are run by Xtreme Tire Repair, 3415 Trans Canada Hwy, Cobble Hill, BC V8H 0C7, Canada.
The short version
We ask for your name and contact details only when you place a tire order or send us a rental request, and we use them only to fulfil that request. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking software, and we never sell or share your information.
What we collect
When you place an order or send a request through the website or the app, you give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you choose to give one
- The details of what you're asking for — the tire or truck, the quantity, whether you want it installed, and any note you add
That's the complete list. The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, or device identifiers, and it contains no advertising or analytics software.
Why we collect it
To contact you about your order, to set the tire aside for you, to arrange installation or pickup, and to keep a record of the sale for our business and tax records. We don't use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who sees it
Only the people who run the shop. We use two service providers to keep the site and app running — Vercel, which hosts the website, and Upstash, which stores order records — and your order details sit on their servers as part of that. Neither uses the data for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We would only disclose it further if we were legally required to.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for the sale and the business and tax records that follow it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we're legally required to keep a record of the transaction.
Payment
We don't take payment through the website or the app. You pay at the shop, so we never see or store card numbers or banking details.
Children
The app and website are meant for adults buying tires and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
Everything sent between the app or website and our servers is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, but we don't hold anything more sensitive than a name, a phone number and a tire size.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Xtremetirerepair@gmail.com or call 778-829-4424and we'll take care of it. You can also just uninstall the app — it stores nothing about you on your phone.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
